Goddess Frigg Birthing All Creation Tile

Wendy Andrew‘s original artwork ‘Goddess Frigg Birthing All Creation’ looks stunning on this ceramic tile.

It has been reproduced in full colour on the front of the tile and has been given a matt finish.  The picture shows the Goddess Frigg who was the wife of Odin in Norse beliefs.  She was also a Goddess of Motherhood, Fertility and Prophecy and was believed to have spun the clouds.  Here, she has spun a protective cocoon around a new-born baby.

The tile measures 19.5cm x 19.5cm (7.7 inches square).  A black wooden backing is atached, and this has a keyhole fitting at the top.  If you prefer to stand your picture on a flat surface, there is a pull out wooden strut at the bottom.

It is packaged in an open-fronted cardboard box.  On the back is a very useful guide to help you position your tile on the wall.
