The Old Woman of Dreams Card

The British artist Hannah Willow describes her inspiration as coming from “… the land, wild and free places, stories and folklore, poetry, myth and legend“.

The picture centres upon a Wise Woman, deep in a hollow, illuminated by the flames from her cauldron.  The time of Samhain is when the veil between the two worlds is at its thinnest.  The old woman is surrounded by the animal spirits of a stag, raven and owl, symbolising ancestry.

The card measures 17.5cm x 12.5cm and is blank inside for your own message.  It comes with an envelope.
