Year of the Magical Dragon Snow Globe

If you want a stunning Anne Stokes figurine to have on display, this is for you.  But just give it a shake and see the magic appear, for it is also a snow globe.

White and iridescent ‘snowflakes’ are suspended in liquid inside a glass globe.  In the centre is a dragon entwined a Pagan Wheel of the Year.  This shows the eight festivals which are celebrated throughout the year.  Each one is matched with a symbol and these are repeated around the top of the plinth beneath the globe.  At the base of the stand are eight domes all coloured to match the special days.

The figurine inside the sphere and the stand have both been created from resin which has then been hand-painted.  The globe is made from clear glass.  The total height of the snow globe is 18cm.  As this is a licenced Anne Stokes Collection item, it comes in a special illustrated box.
